The Last Days of R.M. Directed by Amin Sidi-Boumédiène

R.M. is a writer threatened with death in 1990’s Algeria. He decides to go into exile in France, in the Parisian suburbs. Far from his wife and son, he feels the persisting anxiety of the life of a hunted man and progressively sinks into madness and the maze of his own imagination.

Born in 1982, Amin Sidi-Boumédiène graduated in 2005 from the CLCF (the Free Conservatory of French Cinema) in Paris.

His first short film, Demain, Alger? was selected in many festivals around the world. L'Île, his second short film, won the Best Film Award at the Abu Dhabi Film Festival. In 2014, he will make his third short film Serial K., which will be screened at the Béjaia Cinema Days. In 2019, he directed his first feature film, Abou Leila, selected at the 58th Semaine de la Critique de Cannes.
