Horizonte Directed by César Augusto Acevedo

Two ghosts, a mother and her son, are looking for the boy’s lost father, in a journey as physical as it is spiritual, through a world torn by war. It is only with enormous sacrifices that they can repair the fragile bonds uniting them and that they might find redemption.

Born in Cali, Colombia, in 1987, he is a graduate of the University of Social Communication of the University of Valle. His first feature film, La tierra y la sombra premiered at the Cannes Film Festival Critic's Week in 2015, where the film was awarded four prizes : the France 5 Révélation Award, the SACD Award, the Rail d'OR Award and the Caméra d'Or.

After its release the film was presented in more than 40 festivals around the world and won more than 25 national and international awards.

Horizonte is César Augusto Acevedo's second feature film, currently in post-production.
